As I am a Web designer, my favorite plugins is firbug and web developer tool.
I use this 100 time in a day
ant video downloader(it lets me download the videos from any website present on the internet)
alexa toolbar (let me know the traffic and rank of a particular website)
seoquake (gives all the details about a particular site or a page, eg; its page rank, its valuation,etc)
fox tab… are some of the plugins i use frequently on firefox.
I agree and am also bummed that the Nodofollow plugin no longer works. This was my single favorite Firefox plugin which saved lot of time.
nothing will beat firebug.
the new plugin i discovered is “open with” you can open the page in different browsers. Good on cross browser testing
I frequently use Web Developer - it’s excellent.

Adblock Plus - I don’t like pages with 20+ ads on them. So I block ads on most sites.

Download Statusbar - groups downloads into a button for easy access
Firebug - because it’s awesome
FireGestures - for easy surfing
Greasemonkey - for a couple of user scripts
Live HTTP Headers - for inspecting headers sent to and from my browser
Screengrab - for making full page screenshots
WebDeveloper Toolbar - for a couple of things missing in Firebug
HTML Validator - for checking to see how many mistakes I’ve made in my (X)HTML
