IMO it’s very important to optimize your site for any particular location that you should have a local listing of their directories.
Well, most of the things would be explained in the video, but i would like point out few basic pointers. Firstly, get a domain specific to your region. Secondly, get your site listed in local directories. Thirdly, arrange for link for your website from top local sites. And do the settings in your GWT for changing the geographic target section.
