What is svchost.exe Error & how to fix it?

Hello,

All of a sudden I get these Error messages that once you look into details of it is about missing: svchost.exe

How do I fix this problem?

FYI, after a window pops up that Window has crashed and I click to ignore it, close it or to follow it for fixes which it does not offer at all, then my PC goes crazy and starts flashing and all screens get wierd looking. Also since this problem started I am having problem maininting a good Internet connection, that is every few click the page does not load and I have to stop and start again.

Thanks for your help.

Is it giving you a specif error number? If so, please post it.

The problem could be anything from a virus, malware, to a corrupted windows update.

Regards,

Spybot and Stopzilla won’t help if your infected with a virus.

Try running malwarebytes and then try to install AVG free or Kaspersky (demo). If AVG or Kaspersky will not install at all, then I’d bet pretty much that you are infected. When anti-virus apps like Kaspersky lock up during the install, it is typically the dead giveaway that your infected.

If so, consider getting on a clean system and download the Kaspersky rescue disc iso and burn it to a cd … then boot the problem system, run the virus definition update and scan your system. I’ve had really good results with it in the field.
