Heaven Knows - The Pretty Reckless

i am listening to a.r rahman music…

Heaven Knows - Rise Against.

Haha. I pick and choose Rise Against… some I like some I don’t… will have to switch over after my Pretty Reckless spree here

Edit: Hero of War is pretty good…

Have every album/song of theirs…by far my favorite band. I have a pretty huge tattoo related to them on my back. Seen them in concert as well…I think the only albums I don’t like is their beginning music.

RPM/Unraveling…there are select few songs that are good on those.

Every other song on every album after that I’m in love with. Here are some songs you should listen to by them if you don’t know much

Lanterns.
Bridges
But tonight we dance.
Savior
This is letting go
Give it all.
Audience of one.
Elective Amnesia
Injection
Drones
Tip the scales.

All amazing songs.

Mmkay. I’ll take a better look later sometime. I think I only have one album, but I can peruse the mighty YouTube

I edited my post with some songs. Obviously there are more good songs by them but these are the select favorites.

Stereo Hearts (Gym Class Heroes ft. Adam Levine)

Make It Rain - Tom Waits

Dimmu Borgir - Hunnerkongens sorgsvarte ferd over steppene
From the classic album For all tid

Any metal heads here?

Oh yeah  Like me some Metallica, Iron Maiden, Breed 77 etc

<img src=“http://rs116.pbsrc.com/albums/o14/Heathen531/smiley-headbanging.gif~c200”/ width=35">

I love the earlier Maiden - that’s what got me into the whole genre.
Metallica the same - I loved them all the way up to St. Anger, but then they started getting too mainstream.
I must admit that I hadn’t heard of Breed 77. I just listened to “The River” on YouTube and I found that to be a bit too soft. I’ve no idea if that is representative of their normal style.

Lately, I’ve been getting into lots of obscure Scandinavian metal.
Some of it is terrible, but now and again you find a gem.

Yeah the last two albums haven’t done much for me either. I know some think that everything since the Black Album is too commerical, but that was the album that first got me into Metallica really. And Load/Reload have some nice tracks.

Yeah, that’s more of a ballad. Try Petroleo, or World’s On Fire. Still might be a bit soft though if you’re into death metal and cookie monster vocals

Never heard that before.

It looks like he’s having some kind of seizure…

Led Zeppelin. Not so much the over-played stuff that most fans seem to demand… I mean the stuff that gets very little airplay.

How Many More Times (1970 RAH concert)
Walter’s Walk
We’re Gonna Groove (1970 RAH concert)
Out On The Tiles
The Girl I Love She Got Long Black Wavy Hair (BBC Sessions)
Dazed And Confused (1973 MSG concert)
Achilles Last Stand (1979 Knebworth concert)

… just to name a few.

V/r,
