To start any business online or web presence first you must register domain name & hosting space.If you have already planned which products you want to sell online keep in mind that product image must be clear in view and detailed viewed.Then you must think with the payment gateway you want to use,this must be reliable payment gateway.SSL must be installed on your site.
I agree with the previous advice it might be best to look for ready solutions. Handling a webshop on your own, all technical stuff included, is rather time consuming. You could better use this time to focus on selling your products.
