I'm looking for marketing assistance/expertise/advice on how/where to find people who would like a gig or side job, just for some extra cash. I tried to post on CraigsList but apparently got 'ghosted' in los angeles > gigs > creative gigs - for this type of ad:
"Looking for someone to capture images of business sections near their neighborhood (by smartphone/cellphone/iPad preferred).
The images can easily be emailed. Pay is $5 per ten images. If interested please reply with any questions and the general location(s) where you can capture some of these shots. No editing required. No experience neccessary. Great (and easy) for students or amateurs interested in earning some extra money."
I'm not interested in discussing the gig, just interested in discussing where would be a good venue to get visibility for it and find candidates for this gig. Also, how to not get ghosted at CL. It seems most other classified venues aren't even close to being as busy as CL. Am I right? Is their a site that's not free like CL, that you'd suggest?

I've heard of elance.com for farming out small jobs, but never made use of it myself.

Craigslist is a classified site.
You should post this requirement on sites such as freelancer, Elance, fiverr to get people.
