If you were asked this question in amazon interview what would be your reply. I was asked this question but could not answer up to the expectations of the Amazon HR.
I don't know. But if I applied for a job at Amazon, I surely would know why I wanted to work there.
What answer did you give?
I don't know either...Maybe I said Amazon is a good platform ??....
"Why do you want to work for our company?" - that's surely one of the most common interview questions. Anyone going for an interview for any company would be advised to have an answer ready.
That said, I would have to admit that I don't know what I would answer in the case of Amazon.
i would replay with answer like this :
i'm very interested to learn more about your company and site's platform.
Thank You Friends. It was a tough question. But I finally made it into Amazon.
Guess you didn't answer "Because I really like the direction you've taken with your iPhone products and I'd love to be part of that"; good call on your part.
If it's not embarrassing, can you tell us what your answer was? (Don't reply if you prefer not to.)
I am interested in Web application development and Amazon is a great place to work with space for innovative thinking
good benefits, well established company... bla bla bla
you should list good points of this company and tell them. I know it's kinda embarrassing but I know that like to hear the good things
This is the common quest raised in most of the top mnc companies. You should just reply that there is much scope over here and should tell abou 5advantages of the company which really impressed you.
I think due to best facilities
If he ask a question likes this ... My answer will be i dont know about Amazon so i came here to know about amazon...
I would answer that I am really interested in the development of web sources and Amazon is just the very place where i can satisfy my needs.

The question I think many HR will ask!
The OP doesn't seem inclined to discuss this any further and the thread is attracting fluff.
