Why this alter table command not working

ALTER TABLE wwe ADD COLUMN sunny varchar (255), hitesh varchar (255);

I want to know why this query is not getting executed.The table wwe exists in my database.I wanted to add these two columns into wwe table.But it is showing “could not execute query”
