I have a simple question, one that has been a headache for a little over and hour now.
I want to integrate PhpBB with WordPress, but I don’t know if I should use my WordPress Database for my PhpBB or create a new Database for the PhpBB.
Help is much needed…

I don’t think PHPBB needs word press.
If you have an existing phpBB community then you can have a look here. Or you could look at implementing a different system that doesn’t require a separate system. Wordpress has a number of bulletinboards/community forums that will run within the WP environment.
