Hello,
I have a wordpress site that features movie reviews. Each movie review has several tags associated with it for each genre of the movie. For example, action, romance, etc.
I am trying to create a checkbox form that allows me to display only results for the reviews that are in the selected genres (tags).
I am trying a wordpress approach as well as a html approach, so if it would help, you can read the html approach in more detail here: http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4599792
Wordpress already allows for this sort of filtering.
All you have to do is add “+” between the tags you want to sort by. For example, in my case, if I wanted to show all posts that had the “action” and “romance” tag, I would simply go to www.mydomain.com/genre/action+romance
The above url was not created by me; it was automatically generated by wordpress.
Does any one have a way that I could automate the process of allowing people to filter by multiple tags? I have tried to explain to my visitors how simple it is to filter by more than one tag, but many of them do not seem to understand. I think if I had some form of checkbox filter that took them to the correct url, it would make things much easier.
Thank you for your help. I greatly appreciate it.
