Your thoughts on two domains

I would like to know what you think of two domains I bought recently.

The first is http://www.elixxr.org which I will be using for a CMS (I know, there’re already a thousand out there; but I’m doing it to learn and to share) that will use a variety of web technologies to achieve its goal. The software itself is called Elixxr.

The second domain is http://www.pixlr.me . Pixlr is an alias that I’m going to use, purely because I like it.

So, what do you think?

pixlr (alias name) is really good one and if it a phrase then it gives you more seo benefits…
Please tell me how to ask questions on sitepoint. I am new on it.

thanks shyflower

pixlr.me one is a good domain. If you market it right and with the right product you are selling, you can potentially turn it into a $xxxx or $xxxxx domain.

I like elixxr.org but not crazy about pixlr.me. They both aren’t actual words which is fine but when they are made up words you want them to be easy to say. When I first see elixxr, I know how to pronounce it but when I see pixlr, I’m not exactly sure how it’s pronounced. It could be pronounced “pixler” or “pixeler”. Might not be a big deal but just the way I think.
