Yeah, the line is quite blurred.
Personally speaking if something is a collection of static pages I think of it as a website, whereas if you can interact with it then I think of it as a web app.

Technically, you can interact with any website—even if just by clicking links. The tipping point from website to web app seems generally to be the amount of JS involved. Typical web apps these days are so heavily JS dependent that they basically don’t work without it. People feel less guilty about that if they call it an app rather than a website—but it’s still just a website (that doesn’t work very well). :stuck_out_tongue:
